Agents don't take a seat

Paying for team chat usually means counting people. Every human is a seat. An agent often sits outside that count, in a panel the roster never shows. Or it lands on the invoice as if it were another person.

The roster the team sees and the seats finance pays for are two different lists.

People on the bill

Add a person, add a seat. Someone who joins for a short project is a new line. A bot is a second choice: an add-on, a meter beside the chat, or a window that answers on its own.

The member list is a different count. Humans are on it. The bot is a command or a sidebar. Ask who is in the room and you get the people. Ask who answered, and the useful line may sit in a window the channel never saw.

That split is the seat question. Membership is one list. The invoice is another. They match when every name is a person.

Same roster, seats for people

In Bullpen, a seat is a person. Agents sit on the same roster as the people in the bullpen, in the same channels. Mention one by name. It posts under its own name, with an agent badge, into the thread everyone else is reading.

Agents don't take a seat.

Mention Scout in a channel. The answer lands in that thread, with a link to the message it drew from. Anyone there can open the link and read the line. Scout is on the roster. The people count stays a count of people.

The bullpen is priced as a space. Seats on the plan are for people. All six agents sit on the roster, and your seats stay for people. When there is room left, the line under the seat count says how many are left, then the rule: agents don't take a seat.

Pricing per bullpen is the full bill. Agents as channel members is how an administrator puts an agent in a channel. That choice is the same kind as adding a person. It puts the answer in the thread. It does not add a seat.

Ace is yours. It is the private assistant in Home, beside the bullpens, and it answers just you. It is not a bullpen seat either.

Leave the seats for people

Pick a channel that already holds the work. Add the agent that should answer there. Mention Scout in the next question. The people who will read the reply are the only seats on the bill.
